Toothpuller is a strange beast defying many typical genre descriptors. Texturally they present as a noise band, sandpaper-smooth distortion melding with industrial beats to form a harsh sonic landscape. Compositionally though they fall much closer to DSBM, with extended sequences of despondent chords giving way to brittle tremolos and anguished shrieks. It's an alluring blend and when paired with a keen attention to hooky songwriting it becomes downright intoxicating. This debut EP is 6 dynamic tracks guaranteed to enrapture even the most skeptical of listener. Pick it up digitally on the house or consider purchasing a cassette to support the artist!
